Community Cinema

Acomb Community Cinema was something 80% of the people in Acomb who responded to our survey said they’d like.

I’m delighted to say that a small group of volunteers have made it a reality!

We began showing films in January 2016 and are presently having a monthly screening on a Friday night.  We usually get between 50-60 people coming along, and tend to show recently released on DVD films, not long since shown at the cinema.

More details of the films showing can be found in our events diary.  Our copyright means we cannot tell you the name of the film, but if you join our email list, and check posters in the church you will join the inner circle of those who do!

Oh, and as we are trying to move to two teams, so you get a night off to simply enjoy the film every other month, we are still open to new volunteers joining us.
