CBSI is a non-denominational, independent, Christian teaching ministry, dedicated to providing accessible, in-depth Bible study in a supportive group setting which is open to everyone. Acomb Churches Together will celebrate Good Friday with a time of worship which begins with a service at Acomb Methodist church at 10:00-11:00am led by Rev Andy Lindley from the Methodist church. At approximately 11:00am we will then begin our walk of witness walking behind the cross into Acomb centre, stopping at the Parish Hall, Gateway and Farm Foods for a reading, and a song at each station.

Northumbrian Community Worship and Prayer Our vision for the church, over the next year is to establish a rhythm of prayer and worship based on the Northumbrian Community liturgy. This form of service is used by many different denominations and is open to all who are interested.   At present we use the morning prayer, on the first sunday of the month at 6pm.   The informal service is open to all who are interested and lasts around 30 minutes, and…

Garden Party - Summer Party and Grand Opening After several years of clearing, planting, building and care, we are finally ready to open our new retreat garden at the rear of our church. To celebrate, we are holding a summer garden party, on the 9th of September, from midday until 5pm. There will be loads of fun activities, as well as a barbeque and live music.  We hope you will join us.
